Editorial policy
Prime Cinema Stories aims for clear, careful writing about cinema. We distinguish observable details from interpretation, check factual claims against suitable sources and make uncertainty visible rather than filling gaps with confident guesses.
Accuracy and interpretation
Writers should identify the film and the specific scene or choice under discussion, and check names, dates, credits and other factual details before publication. Analysis is not a claim of exclusive meaning: we explain what supports a reading and acknowledge reasonable alternatives. If a detail cannot be confirmed, we qualify or omit it.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for the reader, not to secure a favourable mention or placement. Paid, gifted or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly labelled where it appears. A partnership does not guarantee coverage, a particular viewpoint or an editorial endorsement.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, use the Contact page and identify the article and the detail in question. We review correction requests, update confirmed errors and make material corrections clear to readers. Changes that do not alter meaning may be made without a separate correction notice.
Illustrations and disclosure
Some illustrations may be AI-generated. When an illustration is AI-generated, we label it accordingly. Illustrations are not evidence for claims about a film, a production or a real person.
